Types
- Titanium pins and tacks for fixing membranes and titanium mesh, e.g. Ustomed's titanium pins and NeoGen Tacks from Neoss.
- Membrane screws in titanium, e.g. Ustomed's self-tapping membrane screw Ø1.5 mm and NeoGen Membrane Screws.
- Micro screws for fixing bone blocks in titanium (Ø1.2 and 1.4 mm) and steel (Ø1.0 mm), and Smartscrews in titanium from IBI.
- Umbrella screws for the umbrella technique (tenting), e.g. the SCHLEE Umbrella-Technique-Set.
- Resorbable screws: NOVAMag® membrane screws and osteosynthesis screws in magnesium from botiss, which are resorbed.
Kits and accessories
Ustomed's Augmentation Sets gather pins, membrane screws, umbrella screws, osteosynthesis screws, drills and instruments in one wash tray and are available in several editions. There are also applicators, screwdrivers, pilot drills, storage boxes and the Easy-Pin Kit from Osseotouch, which inserts pins with Magneto-Dynamic technology.
