PeriAcryl® 90HV from GluStitch® is a tissue adhesive for intraoral use. It is available in 2 ml with 20 pipettes and in 5 ml with 50 pipettes for dispensing.

Composition
Acrylic-based surgical tissue adhesive with a special formulation of butyl and octyl cyanoacrylate. Supplied as PeriAcryl 90HV in 2 ml or 5 ml ampoules with matching disposable pipettes for precise application.

Properties
Sets within seconds into a strong, flexible film that bonds the soft tissue. Reduces bleeding, acts as a bacterial barrier and requires no removal — the film sloughs off naturally on its own.

Use
For closure and stabilization of smaller intraoral incisions, palatal donor sites and extraction sockets. A gentle alternative or supplement to sutures, particularly suitable where suture removal is to be avoided.

What is PeriAcryl 90HV?
PeriAcryl 90HV is a blend of butyl and octyl cyanoacrylate, developed for soft tissue in the oral cavity. HV stands for high viscosity, and the adhesive is dyed violet so it is easy to see during application. It sets on contact with moisture and forms a flexible film that holds the wound edges together.
Use
Tissue adhesive is used as a supplement or alternative to sutures, e.g. for minor incisions and palatal donor sites, and to stabilise a graft or a membrane. It can also reinforce suturing. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use.

Resorbable sutures?
A suture's degradation rate is measured as strength versus half-life, so a figure of 5 days means at least 50% of the tensile strength remains after 5 days. The time until the suture has fully dissolved is usually much longer.
