The Jason® membrane is a natural collagen membrane made from porcine pericardium, developed for dental bone and tissue regeneration.
In addition to its very low thickness, it offers a naturally long-lasting barrier function thanks to the specific composition and structure of the pericardium's collagen fibers.
The preservation of the pericardium's natural biomechanical properties gives the Jason® membrane advantageous handling properties, such as high tear strength and effective surface adaptation.

Clinical situations require
materials with different properties
The desired barrier function largely depends on the indication. For minor augmentation procedures, membranes with an intermediate barrier function, such as the collprotect® membrane, are a good choice.
In the case of larger horizontal bone defects, long-acting collagen membranes, such as the Jason® membrane, optimally support the osseous regeneration process.
Space-maintaining membranes, such as PTFE membranes (e.g. permamem®), provide additional stability when building up defects outside the bony framework and also offer advantages when used in conjunction with open healing.

collacone® is completely resorbed within approximately 2–4 weeks.
collaFleece®
collafleece® is a moisture-stable collagen sponge of porcine origin with extremely effective haemostatic properties. The natural, porous collagen structure supports haemostasis and natural wound healing.
Thanks to its spongy structure, collafleece® is resorbed within approximately 2–4 weeks.
