In brief

A full-day PRF course in facial aesthetics for doctors, nurses, dentists and aesthetic practitioners. You will learn basic and advanced PRF injection techniques for skin rejuvenation, hair regeneration and volume in the tear trough area, and see them performed live on a model.

Dr. Jorge Castaneda teaches on 28 November 2026, 08.00–17.30, in Roskilde. The course is taught in English.

What you will learn on the PRF course in facial aesthetics

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is an autologous platelet concentrate produced from the patient's own blood without anticoagulants or other additives. The course starts from the scientific foundation of PRF and then covers its clinical use in the face. Within each treatment area, both basic and advanced injection techniques are covered:

  • Skin: PRF for skin rejuvenation.
  • Hair: PRF for hair regeneration.
  • Volume: augmentation with PRF, with a focus on the tear trough area under the eyes.

New to PRF? Read our introduction What is PRF?, which also explains the difference between PRF and PRP.

Who is the course for?

The course is designed for doctors, dentists, nurses and aesthetic practitioners, such as cosmetic nurses and doctors in aesthetic clinics, who want to bring evidence-based PRF treatments into their practice.

Because both basic and advanced techniques are included, you can take part whether you are starting out with PRF in the face or already treat with PRF and want more confidence in the techniques.

Live demonstration: the techniques step by step on a model

The techniques are shown on a model with a step-by-step walkthrough, so you see how they are performed in practice. The morning is teaching and demonstration, the afternoon is a workshop, and the day ends with questions and answers and the course certificate.
