Trinon titanium foil in medical-grade pure titanium with a thickness of just 40 micrometres (my) and a sheet size of 50 x 60 mm. Unlike the stiffer mesh, the foil is a thin, non-perforated titanium foil that is easily bent and shaped with the fingers or an instrument, so that it closely follows the anatomical contour.

The foil is typically used to shield and protect bone graft or substitute material in GBR procedures, e.g. as a barrier over an augmentation or to support a membrane, where a thin, mouldable titanium surface is needed rather than a space-making mesh. The dense, non-perforated surface acts as a physical barrier against soft tissue ingrowth.

The foil can be cut to the desired size and, if necessary, fixed with pins or screws. Supplied non-sterile.
