Cortiflex Demin. membrane from DIZG is a thin, demineralised cortical bone membrane measuring 15 x 30 mm with a thickness of approx. 0.5 mm. Removing the mineral content makes the membrane flexible after rehydration, so that it can easily be adapted and contoured to the anatomy of the defect, while the natural collagen matrix is preserved as a scaffold for bone regeneration.
- Demineralised human cortical bone in a thin, flexible version (approx. 0.5 mm)
- Preserved collagen matrix supports cellular ingrowth and remodelling
- Can be trimmed and draped over the defect as a barrier/cover
- Human donor bone from DIZG, screened and processed in accordance with German pharmaceutical law (§ 21/21a AMG)
Used in oral and maxillofacial surgery as a resorbable membrane in guided bone regeneration (GBR), e.g. to cover bone grafts and defects in connection with implant treatment.
The tissue bank requires the name of the responsible clinician and the surgery date and time when allografts are ordered.
