Curasan Ti-Titanium Foil is a non-resorbable membrane made of pure titanium for guided bone regeneration (GBR) in three-dimensional bone defects. Titanium is a well-proven, biocompatible material with a chemically electropassivated surface that is bioelectrically neutral.

The 40 μm foil provides good micro-stability and dimensional stability, making it suitable for supporting and delimiting the space around the bone augmentation material in horizontal and vertical augmentation. The membrane is dense (impermeable) and has shown good clinical results, even in cases of exposure, where it blends in with the colour of the mucosa. If required, the foil can be fixed, e.g. with Curasan’s Ti-SYSTEM.
