DBM (demineralised bone matrix) from DIZG is an allogeneic bone granulate made from human cortical bone from which the mineral content has been removed by acid treatment. This exposes the underlying collagen matrix and the naturally bound growth factors in the bone, giving the material osteoinductive properties in addition to its osteoconductive scaffold function. This pack has a granule size of 1.0-2.0 mm and a volume of 5.0 cc.

Used in oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as implantology for filling bone defects, extraction sockets and minor augmentations where an osteoinductive component is desired.
The tissue bank requires the name of the responsible clinician and the surgery date and time when allografts are ordered.
