Dr. Hassan Maghaireh
Implantologist, Leeds Dental Implant and Aesthetic Clinic
Dr. Hassan Maghaireh is one of the UK's leading implantologists. He is a member of the ITI and regional director of the ITI Study Club in Leeds. In addition, he is an ITI-accredited speaker. Dr. Maghaireh is also chairman of the scientific committee at the British Academy of Implant & Restorative Dentistry. At this academy, he and his team train dentists in esthetic implantology, bone and gingival grafting.
He has published numerous clinical articles and papers on soft tissue management, bone grafting, immediate placement and loading, and surgical complications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Trials in Dentistry and the International Journal of Dental Biomaterials and Research.
Dr. Maghaireh heads the implantology team at Leeds Dental Implant and Aesthetic Clinic, where he treats advanced implantology cases.

Horizontal and vertical bone grafts in implantology: Modern concepts
Bone grafting is a crucial component of modern implantology, particularly in the treatment of challenging cases with significant vertical and horizontal bone loss.
This course explores the latest evidence-based techniques and innovative approaches for optimizing graft outcomes, such as the use of digitally planned and milled allograft blocks, magnesium-based resorbable rigid membranes and hyaluronic acid-modified allograft and xenograft particles.
Key topics will include material selection, biological principles and advanced surgical protocols focused on improving bone regeneration and the long-term stability of the implant. The speaker will provide clinical information on patient selection, risk management and strategies for achieving aesthetic and predictable outcomes.

Management of hard and soft tissue in immediate implant placement: modern evidence-based approaches
Dr. Hassan Maghaireh will review modern, evidence-based strategies for managing hard and soft tissue in immediate implant placement. With growing evidence supporting minimally invasive techniques, the lecture will critically examine the safety and predictability of flapless implant placement, including its impact on peri-implant tissue preservation and patient outcomes.
A key focus will be the integration of cutting-edge technologies, in particular the use of NOVAMag® membranes, which have revolutionized our approach to guided bone regeneration. Participants will gain insight into how the magnesium-based resorbable properties of NOVAMag® offer better handling, stability and biological integration, fundamentally transforming our protocols for simultaneous hard and soft tissue augmentation.

Socket Grafting Unlocked: A step-by-step guide to avoiding common mistakes
The "Socket Grafting Unlocked" workshop offers implantologists a practical and comprehensive experience focused on mastering socket grafting techniques using models. This step-by-step workshop is designed to address and avoid common mistakes that occur in clinical practice during socket grafting.
Participants will acquire practical skills in flap management, tunnelling techniques, selection of graft material, correct membrane placement, suturing and stabilization. Particular emphasis will be placed on achieving predictable bone regeneration and preventing complications. Participants will refine their surgical skills and gain the confidence needed to perform socket grafting procedures successfully.
All participants receive a workshop package after the course.
