When to choose xenografts?

Xenografts are bone mineral of animal origin – bovine in our range. The mineral is cleaned of organic material and resorbs only very slowly, so it preserves volume and contour for years. This makes xenografts well suited where volume stability is crucial, e.g. in sinus lifts and contour augmentation.

cerabone® is manufactured at 1200 °C, which inactivates bacteria, viruses and prions. The variant with hyaluronic acid gives a sticky, mouldable consistency that is easy to place.

  • Long-term volume stability
  • Structure and porosity like human bone
  • Available with hyaluronic acid as sticky bone
  • Combine with a collagen membrane
