NOVAMag® from botiss is a system of resorbable magnesium products for bone augmentation: membrane, screws and the instruments that go with them.
Magnesium – strong, resorbable, biological
NOVAMag® is botiss’ system of resorbable implants in magnesium: membranes, SHIELD and fixation screws – plus the instruments required. Magnesium is mechanically strong like a metal, but is degraded by the body, so there is no removal surgery.
The membrane and SHIELD degrade within 2–4 months, the screws in about a year. SHIELD is used flaplessly to rebuild buccal and palatal wall defects in the extraction socket – also in immediate implant placement.

- Membrane: NOVAMag® magnesium membrane, 30 × 40 mm, which can be cut and shaped and is fully resorbed.
- Screws: NOVAMag® membrane screws (XS) and osteosynthesis screws (S-XL) in 7-13 mm for fixing bone blocks.
