Dental instruments and hand instruments for surgery, periodontology, extraction and microsurgery. The range comes mainly from the German manufacturer Ustomed in Tuttlingen and from Osseotouch, and it covers the instruments used in oral surgery and implant treatment, from luxators and needle holders to bone mills and mirrors.

Find the right type of instrument
- Luxators and elevators for luxation and extraction, straight, curved and bayonet-shaped.
- Needle holders for suturing, both standard models and micro needle holders.
- Scissors for sutures and soft tissue, including micro scissors.
- Forceps for tissue and micro dissection.
- Retractors for keeping the lip, cheek and flap away from the surgical field.
- Scalpel handles and micro scalpels.
- Excavators and curettes.
- Bone mills and bone harvesting for autologous bone.
- Mirrors, including root resection mirrors and mirrors for intraoral photography.
If you work under magnification, microsurgery brings together the fine instruments, and under surgical kits you will find instruments assembled for a specific procedure. All surgical instruments are gathered under surgery.
Tungsten carbide and black coating
Several of Ustomed's needle holders and scissors have tungsten carbide inserts (TC). Needle holders with tungsten carbide have a ground profile that holds the needle firmly, and the ring handles are gold-plated so they are easy to recognise. Ustomed gives a 3-year guarantee on the tungsten carbide needle holders. Osseotouch instruments have a black soft-touch coating, while the working end is uncoated.
Cleaning and sterilisation
The instruments are reusable and must be cleaned and sterilised after each patient according to the manufacturer's instructions. For storage and sterilisation we have containers, instrument racks and washing trays under sterile storage.
Ordering
The instruments are ordered individually in the webshop. Each instrument lists its length, width or figure number, so you can find the same model again when an instrument needs replacing.
