Micro scalpel blades from MJK Instruments in France for periodontal and mucogingival microsurgery. The blades are made of Sandvik Bioline® surgical steel with MJK's A.A.S. double-taper grind.

Which micro blade suits the procedure?

Micro blades are used where a 15 or 15c blade is too coarse: in papillae, in the sulcus and in narrow interdental spaces. MJK Instruments in France makes the blades from Sandvik Bioline® surgical steel with A.A.S. double-taper sharpening, which cuts evenly on both the pull and the push stroke.

The BW blades cover most incisions in periodontal and mucogingival surgery. SB spoon blades are for tunnelling and the envelope technique, and the bendable blades are shaped to the patient's anatomy. Micro scalpels have the blade fixed to a handle for single use.

  • Sandvik Bioline® surgical steel with A.A.S. sharpening
  • Sterile single-use blades, 10 per box
  • Folded, angled, straight, curved and bendable blades
  • The blades fit MJK handles in titanium or steel
