What is the difference between the screws?
  • No screw: the Ti-base is supplied without a screw.
  • TiN screw: titanium nitride coated with a hard, wear-resistant surface. For straight screw channels; uses the same screwdriver as the original parts.
  • Black screw (BLC): DLC coating doped with tungsten. Low friction and consistent preload over repeated tightening. For straight screw channels; uses the same screwdriver as the original parts.
  • Angled screw (TPA): required for angulated screw channels (up to 28°). Needs the TPA screwdriver and the ASC library in your CAD software.
