About botiss

botiss biomaterials is a leading manufacturer of innovative solutions for bone and tissue regeneration in dental surgery. The product range includes allogeneic, xenogeneic, and synthetic materials, as well as collagen-based products. The products are well-documented and developed with a focus on safety, quality, and clinical predictability. With a strong scientific approach and extensive clinical evidence, botiss supports dentists in achieving optimal treatment outcomes.

Clinical situations require

materials with different properties

The desired barrier function largely depends on the indication. For minor augmentation procedures, membranes with an intermediate barrier function, such as the collprotect® membrane, are a good choice.

In the case of larger horizontal bone defects, long-acting collagen membranes, such as the Jason® membrane, optimally support the osseous regeneration process.

Space-maintaining membranes, such as PTFE membranes (e.g. permamem®), provide additional stability when building up defects outside the bony framework and also offer advantages when used in conjunction with open healing.

Collprotect®

The collprotect® membrane is a natural collagen membrane made from porcine dermis, intended for the regeneration of bone and soft tissue in dental treatments.

novamag®

The magnesium membrane is both strong and resorbable. It can be adapted in size and shaped for the treatment of individual bone defects.

permamem® PTFE

permamem® is an extremely thin, non-resorbable, and biocompatible membrane. It is made of biologically inert, high-density polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

Cones & fleeces

botiss hemostasis portfolio

Porcine-derived collagen cones and fleeces, such as collacone® and collafleece®, are designed to promote hemostasis and provide a matrix for blood absorption and cell ingrowth. Thus, they support the formation of a blood clot and contribute to the control of natural wound healing.

Furthermore, covering the open wound can prevent post-extraction complications such as alveolitis (dry socket), bacterial infections, and postoperative wound infections.

collacone®

collacone® is a moisture-stable and malleable cone made of natural collagen, developed for use in fresh extraction sockets to support natural healing.

Its use stabilizes the blood clot, helps control bleeding, and protects the wound area from food debris and bacteria.

collacone® is completely resorbed within approximately 2–4 weeks.

collaFleece®

collafleece® is a moisture-stable collagen sponge of porcine origin with extremely effective haemostatic properties. The natural, porous collagen structure supports haemostasis and natural wound healing.

Thanks to its spongy structure, collafleece® is resorbed within approximately 2–4 weeks.
