How Magnetic Mallet works

Magnetic Mallet uses Magneto-Dynamic technology: a magnetic impulse, instead of rotation or hammer blows, drives the instrument forward.

  • No friction heat, because there is no drilling or rotation
  • The bone is moved, displaced and condensed — it is not removed
  • Calibrated, surgeon-controlled force gives full control over every stroke
  • The same power unit serves the entire instrument family: osteotomes, bone split, extraction and guided surgery

One handpiece, all instruments

The instrument is swapped at the top of the handpiece — the same power unit serves osteotomes, bone split, extraction and guided surgery.

Impulse, not rotation

Each press of the foot pedal triggers one magnetic impulse through the handpiece — no rotation, no friction heat.

4 power levels

The impulse strength is selected on the console in 4 steps, so the force is calibrated to bone density and procedure.

2 modes in one unit

Osteotome mode for bone preparation, and a separate crown-removal mode for gentle removal of crowns/bridges.

What is EasyRoot?

EasyRoot is a standalone variant of Magneto-Dynamic technology, dedicated to atraumatic tooth extraction. Its own handpiece, its own foot pedal — not an accessory to Magnetic Mallet.

The instruments (Extractor 1-5, Expeller) displace and condense the bone around the root instead of removing it, preserving the socket as well as possible for a subsequent implant placement.

Because EasyRoot runs on its own handpiece and its own foot pedal, it can be set up and used completely independently of the rest of the Magnetic Mallet system — you do not need to own a Magnetic Mallet starter kit to get started with EasyRoot.

With full control the tooth is loosened in a few precise strikes, without heating or damaging the bone — and without force or wrist torque.

Depending on bone density, the site is first drilled or prepared with a bone split instrument, then one or more osteotomes are used until the desired condensation and sinus lift are achieved.
