maxgraft® bonering is a prefabricated ring of cancellous human allograft, developed for the bone ring technique, in which bone augmentation and implant placement are performed in a single surgical step. The ring is placed in the defect and the implant is inserted directly through the central hole of the ring, which mechanically fixes the graft.
The slightly larger diameter of Ø7 mm accommodates larger-diameter implants and can be used for defects where the Ø6 mm ring is too narrow. The technique avoids an additional surgical phase and reduces the overall treatment time up to the final restoration.
- Dimensions: Ø7 mm, height 3.3 mm
- Material: allogeneic cancellous bone ring from a human donor
- Typically used together with cerabone® granules and a Jason® membrane for coverage
Sharp edges can be rounded off with a diamond bur before placement, and the ring can be adapted to the recipient site as required.
The tissue bank requires the name of the responsible clinician and the surgery date and time when allografts are ordered.

Product details
Clinical versatility with four solutions
Pure spongy maxgraft®+HyA (small and large granules) provides a highly porous structure that supports optimal revascularization and supply of vital cells, enabling rapid regeneration of vital bone tissue.
The cortico-spongy variant (small granules), consisting of approx. 70% cortical and 30% spongy bone, offers improved volume stability. This makes it particularly suitable for guided bone regeneration in the aesthetic zone, where predictable volume preservation and integration of soft tissue are crucial.

The extra fine cortico-spongious variant (XS granules) achieves a paste-like consistency upon hydration, allowing for easy application with a conventional Luer-tip syringe – ideal for filling small or narrow defects.

Tissue bank CTBA
Botiss biomaterials produces its allografts in cooperation with the CTBA tissue bank in Austria. The Maxgraft® product range covers granules, bone blocks, and bone plates.
