Curasan Ti-Titanium Foil is a non-resorbable membrane of pure titanium for guided bone regeneration (GBR). Titanium is a well-proven, biocompatible material, here with a chemically electropassivated surface that is bioelectrically neutral.

At a thickness of 20 μm, the foil is highly flexible and can be used, among other things, to cover periodontal defects and extraction sockets where an adaptable, thin membrane is desirable. The membrane is occlusive (impermeable) and has shown good clinical results, even in cases of exposure, where it blends in with the colour of the mucosa. If required, the foil can be fixed, e.g. with Curasan's Ti-SYSTEM.
