Pins and screws for fixing membranes, titanium mesh and bone blocks in bone augmentation and guided bone regeneration (GBR). The range comes from Ustomed, Neoss, botiss and IBI, in titanium, steel and resorbable magnesium.

Which fixation suits the procedure?

In bone augmentation, both the membrane and the graft must stay completely still while new bone forms. This is done with three types of fixation: pins and membrane screws for membranes and titanium mesh, micro screws for bone blocks and plates, and Umbrella screws that keep the membrane stretched like a tent.

Choose titanium or steel when the fixation is to be removed again, and resorbable magnesium (NOVAMag®) when it is to remain. Ustomed's Augmentation Set gathers pins, screws, drills and instruments in one wash tray.
