NeoGen Tack Mallet is a surgical mallet included in the Neoss Fixation Kit for guided bone regeneration (GBR). The instrument is used together with the Tack Positioning Instrument to tap NeoGen membrane tacks through the membrane in a controlled manner and secure it to the underlying bone.
The lightweight, balanced mallet gives the surgeon precise control over the force on impact, so the membrane is fixed stably without shifting while the regenerative membrane covers the bone defect.
