Bicortical block from DIZG is a structural allograft block, 20 x 40 mm, with two cortical layers and a cancellous core. The cortical load-bearing capacity combined with the cancellous interior makes the block well suited for augmenting more extensive bone defects.
The graft is made from freeze-dried human donor tissue from Germany, sterilized using PES (peracetic acid-ethanol).

Used for three-dimensional augmentation of larger bone defects in the jaw, e.g. in cases of extensive ridge resorption.
The tissue bank requires the name of the responsible clinician and the surgery date and time when allografts are ordered.
