Stypro Standard is a resorbable haemostatic gelatin sponge for bleeding control in oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures. The porous gelatin structure provides a large surface area that promotes platelet aggregation and rapid clot formation on contact with the wound surface, and the sponge can absorb blood equivalent to many times its own weight.

The standard format of 80x50x10 mm makes the product suitable when it needs to be cut to fit larger wound surfaces or into several smaller pieces as required. The sponge is resorbed by the body and does not need to be removed after use.
