PRF in Dentistry, Lectures by Prof. Marc Quirynen
Celebrate 25 years of Platelet-Rich Fibrin with a full-day PRF dentistry course led by Professor Marc Quirynen of KU Leuven — one of the world's leading researchers in dental regenerative medicine. The programme delivers an updated scientific evidence base and deep clinical insight into Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) and Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR). The day concludes with a hands-on workshop covering the manufacturing of Solid PRF, Liquid PRF, and Extended PRF preparations — including Bio-Membrane and Bio-Bone. Essential for dentists seeking to strengthen their regenerative protocols under world-class expert guidance.

Professor Marc Quirynen
Professor M. Quirynen graduated in 1980 as a dentist from the Catholic University of Leuven, where he also completed his training in Periodontology in 1984. In 1986, he earned his PhD with a dissertation titled “Anatomical and Inflammatory Factors Influencing Bacterial Plaque Growth and Retention in Humans.”
He is currently part-time engaged in the post-graduate programme of Periodontology at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), and visiting professor at Egas Moniz University of Lisbon (Portugal).

Perio 2000
Professor Marc Quirynen is internationally recognized for his pioneering research on autologous platelet concentrates in periodontal regeneration and implant dentistry. He is the author of Leucocyte- and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (L-PRF) in Oral Regenerative Procedures and guest editor of the landmark Periodontology 2000 special issue on Autologous Platelet Concentrates, bringing together the latest scientific evidence with contributions from leading experts such as Dr. Richard Miron and Dr. Catherine Davies.
